Amey Desai, a final-year electronic engineering student, created a wearable walking aid called WALK after his grandfather's fall showed the impact of Parkinson's Disease. WALK uses muscle stimulation to improve coordination and prevent falls in people with neurological conditions. Studies have shown a 50% reduction in gait issues, and the device has been tested at NIMHANS in Bengaluru.
