MUMBAI, OCT 25: The new winter schedule of Indian Airlines, which will take effect from November 1, includes the introduction of flights between Mumbai and Pune, and Mumbai and Jammu-Srinagar.

A daily Airbus A-320 flight has also been introduced between Mumbai and Aurangabad, which will also directly link Aurangabad and Delhi via Mumbai. An Airbus A-320 flight will also operate daily on the Mumbai/Delhi/ Jammu-Srinagar sector. It will leave Mumbai at 9 am.

The Mumbai-Pune flight, which will operate daily except on Sundays, will leave Mumbai at 6.30 am. It will provide onward connections to Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.

With 288 flights operating per week against the existing 258, IA will offer 5,900 seats a day from Mumbai against the earlier 5,300. The increase in seats on the Mumbai/Bangalore, Mumbai/Ahmedabad and Mumbai/Goa routes are some of the other features of the new schedule. There will also be a Kochi/Delhi flight via Mumbai.

Four flights will departdaily to Bangalore and the frequency between Mumbai and Ahmedabad has been increased to three daily flights.
