Imtiaz Anees placed 25th

Sydney, September 20: Indian rider imtiaz anees, who qualified literally at the eleventh hour, was placed 25th in a field of 31 in dressage on the first day of the three-day equestrian individual competitions at the Olympic Games here today.

Astride quot;Spring Invaderquot;, Anees collected total penalty points of 61.00 to be placed lower down the table.

The field was led by David O8217;Connor of the United States with 29 points, followed by Marina Koehnicke of Germany 34.80 and Heidi Antikatzidis of Greece 37.40.
