SURAT, JAN 15: A passenger received knife injuries and some others were relieved of cash or ornaments worth around Rs 50,000 when a four-member gang raided a compartment of Indore Express on Kim-Hathuran section of the Western Railway in the small hours of Saturday, Railway Police said.

The injured was hospitalised at Baroach.

Some of the suspected were detained by the railway police for interrogation after the incident, police added.
