MUMBAI, JAN 9: Film-maker Rakesh Roshan8217;s Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, easily 20008217;s biggest box-office moneyspinner has bagged as many as 16 nominations for the 7th Annual Screen-Videocon Awards, which will be presented on January 20 at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.

In second place comes Vidhu Vinod Chopra8217;s stylish Mission Kashmir which has earned 12 nominations, while Aditya Chopra8217;s Mohabbatein comes in at third place with 11 nominations.

The event this year coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Screen publication, and will be telecast on January 21 on DD1 National Network at 9pm, and on Sahara TV at 9.30 pm.

Other films that will compete for awards in 24 categories are Josh 9 nominations, Jungle 8 nominations, Hey Ram and Fiza 7 nominations each, Dhadkan and Hera Pheri 6 nominations each.

Interestingly, even smaller, niche films like Mahesh Manjrekar8217;s Astitva and Nidaan, and Amol Palekar8217;s Kairee which enjoyed only limited releases, have been selected in various categories.
