The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Friday shifted Secretary (Border Management) U N Panjiar to Water Resources and appointed Secretary (Union Public Service Commission) Surendra Pal Gaur as Chairman of Inland Waterways Authority of India in the Department of Shipping.Another ACC decision was to extend the tenure of N S Sisodia as Director of the Institute of Defence Studies & Analysis for three more years after the present term comes to an end on August 16, this year.Sisodia is a retried IAS officer from the Rajasthan cadre.On Wednesday, it appointed DDA Vice-Chairman Dinesh Rai as Secretary (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) and Special Secretary (Revenue) K Mohandas as Secretary (Overseas Indian Affairs).
