Annual function with a difference

CHANDIGARH, FEB 28: The annual function of the Adhunik Nursery School, Sector 6, was a function with a difference. Every student of the school made an appearance on the stage during the function held at Yavnika Open Air Theatre, here today.

Said one parent, 8220;I liked the idea. The stage gives a lot of confidence to a child. Moreover, the stage confidence, if attained at this stage, helps greratly in improving the child8217;s personality.8221;

The Rajasthani dance and Gidha by Nursery and KG class students won applause from the audience.

Students spoke on various topics, including their parents and favourite toys.

School Principal Sudha Bhatia read the annual report. While addressing parents, she stressed the role of preparatory schools in a child8217;s development. Pre-schooling helps them gain confidence and learn faster, as children mix with each other easily in small groups, she said.
