For once, CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat was left speechless when an angry RSP leader Abani Roy called him up recently and accused the CPIM leadership of 8220;leaking out8221; the name of Left8217;s candidate for the Vice-President8217;s post8212;Hamid Ansari. At a meeting of the four Left parties earlier, Karat had told leaders sternly to ensure that the name does not come out in the media.
