With the deck of a ship Titanic hangover?! forming the setting, the first round had the contestants introducing themselves. This was followed by the question round, when a common poser was put before the contestants 8211; Their message to the Indian soldiers fighting the infiltrators up in the Valley.8217; The final round saw the five finalists subjected to a question each by the five judges.

Amidst this hectic competing, dance performances by Vibrations and Vaijayanti8217;s group provided much relief and entertainment as they danced to numbers like Koi Mil Gaya, Boom Boom and Chaiyya Chaiyya. Modelling sequences choreographed by Namita also pulled in the crowds from the lawns and the food stalls. The absence of a live band was compensated for by DJ Nadeem, whose music had the crowd dancing till 1:30 a.m! The event was organised by Jazzmatazz.

If you like to get your adrenaline flowing as you step on the gas, then it8217;s time to get off the roads and onto a race track. Now here8217;s another race track that has joined the list 8211; the Mazkart Racing Club in Warje. The 600-metre dirt track 8211; the widest in the city8217; claim the organisers 8211; will be inaugurated on May 27 at a function with singer Alisha Chinoy as the chief guest. Highlights of the evening include demonstration races with two-stroke go-karts, three races for children, men and women respectively and MC Marz as the commentator. The racing track is named after its owner Sanjay Mazda, a motorcyclist himself. Oh, did we forget to mention 8211; there8217;s also a party with DJ Nadeem. So, if you like life on the fast track, Mazkart Racing Club, from 8.30 p.m. onwards, is where it8217;s at.
