CALCUTTA, JANUARY 24: Tobbaco major, ITC Ltd has reported a 23.2 per cent rise in net profit in the third quarter of 1999-2000 over the same period previous year. The company clocked a post-tax profit of Rs. 167.19 crore during the period.

ITC’s net sales during 1999-2000 third quarter stood at Rs.960.75 crore, up by 14.7 per cent over the same period last year. For the nine-month period ending December 31, 1999, thecompany registered a net profit of Rs. 567.51 crore.
