Is it true that models don8217;t eat?

No. We eat like everybody else, but have to be careful.

What is your fitness schedule like? What do you do?

I try various methods to keep myself fit and active. Earlier, I used to visit the gym regularly for weight-training. But now I prefer natural ways of losing weight. To spice up my fitness regime, I try dancing, yoga and kickboxing.

Tell us more about kickboxing and dancing

I practise both kickboxing and ballroom dancing thrice a week. Kickboxing works really well for me. It8217;s strenuous but a lot of fun and is one of the best exer-cises I have ever tried. I have been learning ballroom dancing for almost a year now.

How about yoga? Do you do it regularly?

I try to. I am very particular about pranayam and some other breathing exercises. Yoga cleans the system, keeps you healthy.

Is your approach to health and fitness holistic?

Yes. And I think that8217;s the right approach. Professionally, I have to be very body-conscious. But fitness is about more than beauty. It8217;s about health and has to last you an entire lifetime.

No. We eat like everybody else. However, we have to be careful about what we eat more than others. I know models who are foodies. Even I don8217;t skip meals, I just try to strike a balance.

What is your diet chart like?

It8217;s very normal. I eat regular home-cooked food and avoid items like paranthas and soft drinks. Also, it really helps to have dinner before 8 pm. I eat out, but I don8217;t suffer from guilt pangs as I compensate for it by exercising.
