Development authority for Nashik mooted

NASHIK, May 18: Call it the outpourings of a bruised ego, a game of one-up-manship or sincere resolve8230; state Health Minister Dr Daulatrao Aher appears to have taken his role as Nashik8217;s guardian minister very seriously.

With his dream of setting up the proposed Medical University in Nashik getting entangled in legal wrangles, Dr Aher has now mooted the idea of creating a development authority for the city.

At the inauguration of Buildmat 988242; exhibition at the Dongre Vidyarthi Vasatigriha grounds, he said he would strive for the establishment of Nashik Development Authority on the lines of Nagpur, for a planned development of the city.
