Slumdog for MPs

If the unending debates,long-winding speeches and the Delhi heat have tired our MPs,they can look forward to some Oscar-winning relief. The Lok Sabha Secretariat will hold a special screening of Slumdog Millionaire on Parliament premises in the first week of August,which will also be attended by Oscar winners A R Rahman and Rasool Pookutty. Let them have a little entertainment also, said a Parliament official about the screening,which is an initiative of Lok Sabha Secretary General P D T Achari. Last year,the Lok Sabha had organised screening of Shyam Benegals movie on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
