Attagirl!
Just watch out for her! And ignore all those who insist that Tabu’s best days are over. She’s delivered a straight-from-the-heart performance in Rajiv Menon’s Kandukondain Kandukondain, and is, apparently raring to go. Not content with merely doing a handful of so-called "sensible" films, the actress has decided she will take on her contemporaries in the mainstream market too. Watch her steam up the screen with co-star Milind Soman (who the rumour mills insist she is currently dating) in Tarkeib, and then she chews the daylights out of both Govinda and Karisma Kapoor when she features with them in N Chandra’s Shikari which is due later this year.
And finally…
While on Tabu, must mention that former sweetheart (producer) Sajid Nadiadwala is on to other things in life, now that his relationship with Tabu is apparently over. Mr Moneybags is making all arrangements to ensure that his latest movie, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega makes it for an early August release. Toplining the producer’s best-est buddy Salman Khan, the movie also happens to have chewing-gum chomping chhamyas Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta in starring roles. It’s a remake of that Sandra Bullock-weepie, While You Were Sleeping. Only, in this one, there’s one guy and two girls. Interestingly, while audiences have noticed the on-screen chemistry between shirtless Salman and razzmatazz Rani (in Hello Brother), one is eager to see how the bicep-bulging Khan looks opposite the dimpled Preity in Nadiadwala’s musical. Till August then…
