AHMEDABAD, Dec 5: The Indian challenge ended as top-seed and olympic medalist Leander Peas was tamed by qualifier Vadim Kutsenki (Uzb) in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, in the semi-finals of the ATP Challenger 1997 being played at Ageta Court, here late this evening. While in other semi-finals second seeded Oleg Ogorodov (Uzb) was outwitted in a marathon match of 125 minutes by Herbert Wiltsching of Austria with score of 6-4, 2-6, 7-5. Thus ending sailings of seeded players and both qualifiers will meet in the final tomorrow.
