Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis, who picked up the first five-wicket haul of his career on Friday, said he wasn8217;t under pressure even when Virender Sehwag was going after him.

8220;We knew that the Indian plan was to attack me. So there were no worries. It was part of the game,8221; he said. 8220;Definitely the training that I underwent with the army helped me remain confident,8221; he added.

Mendis picked up six wickets in the first innings to bundle out the Indians for 329 and bring Sri Lanka back after Virender Sehwag8217;s unbeaten double hundred threatened to take the match away from the hosts. Mendis even managed to overshadow Muttiah Muralitharan, who has always done well at this venue, with his performance. 8220;I am more focussed on my training at the moment8230; and whatever little time I get, I spend with my family. Basically my life has not changed much.8221;
