PATIALA, Sept 6: The candidates of B.D.S. second professional supplementary examination have complained through principals of their respective colleges that 16 marks paper of the microbiology paper, which was conducted by Punjabi University on September 3, was out of syllabus.

In a meeting of Dean of Academic Affairs, deans of colleges and principals of dental colleges affiliated to Punjabi University, under the chairmanship of Dr Jasbir Singh Ahluwalia, it was decided that Punjabi University would take strict action against the paper setter as per rules and students would be adequately compensated. This was stated in a press release issued by the University here today.
