Mulayams monkey problem

After a three-year gap,Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is back on Krishna Menon Marg, though not in the same bungalow that he used to occupy earlier. While politically,Mulayam has been battling the elephant the BSPs party symbol,on his home turf he has to ward off monkeys which abound at his new 7,Krishna Menon Marg residence. The job to keep the monkeys away has fallen on his son,Akhilesh, who is supervising the refurbishment work being carried out at the house. Akhilesh, who has now become the president of the state party unit in Uttar Pradesh, has bigger worries too. In the process of reconstituting the organisation,he is finding it difficult to accommodate multiple requests for same posts from aspirants claiming to have the blessings of either his father or his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav. Meanwhile,Mulayam is said to be concentrating his energies on winning back the Muslim vote, which is believed to be behind the Congresss success in UP in the last general elections. He was recently seen reading the Hindi translation of Quran, gifted to him by a party worker from Moradabad.
