CALCUTTA, JAN 10: East Zone Ranji Trophy one-day champions Bengal will take on Tamil Nadu in the Wills Trophy limited overs knock-out cricket tournament at the Eden Gardens here tomorrow.
Bengal would want to carry on from their big win over Tripura on January 1. Bengal had won the match by 213 runs to finish the East Zone league at the top of the table with seven points. Tamil Nadu are, of course, no Tripura. With the likes of Sharath, D. Vasu, S. Ramesh, WV Raman, Hemang Badani as their opponents, Bengal might not want to start dreaming about a big win especially with the weak bowling attack that they have.
Skipper Utpal Chatterjee is Bengal8217;s most experienced bowler and although newcomer Ranabir Bose and Laxmi Ratan Shukla have been among wickets lately, they will face a tough test against the strong Tamil Nadu batting tomorrow.
