Bureaucratic reshuffle in UP

The state government transferred three senior IAS officers on Tuesday. V N Garg, Principal Secretary Basic Education, will now hold the post of Principal Secretary Energy and Chairman of the UP Power Corporation. Garg will continue to hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial development department. Pradeep Shukla, Principal Secretary Energy was posted as Principal Secretary Basic Education. D K Mittal, who was awaiting a posting, has been made DG, Deen Dayal Upadhyay State Institute of Rural Development.
