Food festival at Waterfall
The Waterfall restaurant at Hotel Holiday Inn is organising a festival of dum pukht8217; with a variety of biryanis cooked by master chef Mohamad Shahid. The festival offers five vegetarian and non-vegetarian biryanis accompanied by Indian rotis, curries, chutney, pickles and papads. The festival is on between 7.30 and 11.30 p.m.

Legal website launched
India8217;s first website focussing on Indian law has been launched at lexsite.com which aims to serve legal professionals, chartered acountants, law students, financial firms and the Indian corporate sector. The service will focus on content, community and services on the web for legal and accounting professionals and corporate users. The initial services are in areas of direct taxes and foreign exchange laws.

One-day seminar on dams
A one-day seminar on Important Aspects of large dams including monitoring8217; will be organised by the department of Civil Engineering of D D Institute of Technology-Nadiad and the Gujarat State Centre of the Institute of Engineers India on September 25, a Dharmesh Desai Institute of Technology release has said.

Bank union8217;s stand
Convener of the United Forum of Bank Unions, Gujarat State S K Kadri, in a release on Thursday dubbed as misleading, mischievous and unwarranted the allegation made by the chief executive of the Indian Bank8217;s Association that bank unions were backing out from commitments relating to superannuation benefits about which an MoU was signed on March 11.
