MUMBAI, June 5: Wenden CATERERS beat Young Sports 5-3 in the Bandra Gymkhana Open Invitational Rink hockey tournament last night.

Athur Castellino slammed two goals for Wenden Caterers with Steven Pereira, Sandeep Patro and Manoj Lokhande adding one each.

Three goals by Rocky Fernandes, two each by Gavin Vandrine and Saby Noronha and one by Yves Bent spurred Rajputs to a 8-5 win over Schools Select. Agnelo Fernandes hit two for the schoolboys with Shelton Carvalho, Karl Lopez and Gavin Alfonso scoring one each.

On the opening day8217;s action on Tuesday night, international Edward Aranha and Alex D8217;Souza worked in tandem to enable Rebels SC devastate hosts Bandra Gymkhana 10-3.Asaad Khan8217;s quadruple strike fell way short of Bombay Repulicans tally of seven goals as Khalsa crashed to a 4-7 defeat. Aranha and Alex helped themselves to four goals each.
