No match-fee cut: Dalmiya

The Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI today made it clear that there was no proposal to deduct the match fee of Indian cricketers for poor performance during the ongoing New Zealand tour.

The board president Jagmohan Dalmiya said here that an unnecessary controversy has been been raised while there was no move to enforce a pay-cut against the cricketers.

Dalmiya was reacting to media reports quoting some board officials that a part of the match fee of Indian cricketers would be deducted for poor showing during the current tour.
