Disabilty Week concludes

The Disability Week being observed by different non-government organisations on Monday concluded with a visit of the special children to Rose Garden.

The Disability Week being observed by different non-government organisations on Monday concluded with a visit of the special children to Rose Garden. About 300 children from Special Action Group: Ek Paryas, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Ashirwad, Nirdosh, Darpan and from the school of Deaf and Dumb children participated in it enthusiastically.

The children moved freely in the clean and green environment of Rose Garden and then played games like 8220;passing foward8221; and sang songs. To boost the morale, each student was asked to perform any cultural item. Some of them recited poems, while other danced and a few sang songs.

N. Mannan and Davinder, both teachers from Ek Paryas, accompanied these children along with their parents and guardians. Afterwards, the children were served snacks.

The Disability Week activities started on November 28 when these special children performed cultural items at BCM School, Dugri. The special children also visted Ryan International School and RS Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, and performed there.
