Asian Paints launches helpline
Paint manufacturer Asian Paints yesterday launched a telephone helpline service to assist consumers with paint-related queries. Termed the “Asian Paints Helpline”, the service, a first in the country, will provide information on matters such as the type of paint to be used, colour combinations, price and the dealers who stock the paint. The helpline number is 651408.

Hero introduces new range of cycles
Ranger swing, a new range of all terrain multi-speed gear bicycles was launched by Hero Cycles in the City yesterday. With a new style `Y’ shaped frame, built of high tensile steel with adjustable suspension, the cycles come in three different models having 10, 12 and 18 gears. The cycles are priced at around Rs 2,700 each.
