Vikram Bhatt to host Ishq Kills
Director Vikram Bhatt, who has earlier directed a horror show Haunted Nights, will be making a comeback to television with a show titled Ishq Kills
Director Vikram Bhatt, who has earlier directed a horror show Haunted Nights, will be making a comeback to television with a show titled Ishq Kills. This time though, he’ll be facing the camera as an anchor for the show that explores the theme of forbidden love stories. Ask the film-maker what made him take on Ishq Kills, he says, “Shagufta Rafique is a good friend of mine, and she’s the writer of the show. When I got this offer to host the show, I didn’t know that she’s writing it. But when I read it, I was keen to do the show because of the stories that featured in it. I think that if someone is trying to push the envelope, even if it’s just a little, then I should help in that effort.”
Bhatt has already shot a few episodes of the show, and is not too worried about how to go about hosting it. He’s quite clear about wanting to give a personal touch to the show. “I want to bring to it a certain level of understanding that I have of relationships, taking into account that I’ve had a checkered past to say the least. I know what it is to love and fail, and what it is to be loved and spurn. I’ve seen both sides, and I understand that

Ratan Rajput to re-enter Mahabharat
Actress Ratan Rajput, who was seen as Amba in Mahabharat, will be making an appearance again in the epic, albeit just for a cameo. The makers thought of bringing Rajput back for a cameo with Bhishma, who on seeing Shikhanandini, recalls Amba’s words. She had vowed to return to take revenge on him. Shikhanandini, played by Shikha Singh, turns out to be the reincarnation of Amba. Rajput can be expected to re-enter the show by February end or March beginning.
