When Guetta Takes Over

Gates open 3 pm and the queue’s going to be big,given that tickets to the Eristoff Invasion David Guetta show in the city today were sold out a few days back. The man behind chart-topping hits like ‘When Love Takes Over’,‘Gettin Over You’ and ‘Sexy Bitch’ has brought down his own festival set to India. The 49 X 23 feet LED screen,which will form the backdrop of the stage,will be the biggest that we’ve seen at a live concert. Organised by OML and UKNY,Dualist Inquiry will open the show at Amanora Park Town at 5 pm followed by an upbeat set by musician Anish Sood. And then,Guetta will take over with his hits and underground beats. “I read the people; it’s my mission to make them go crazy,so what I will play will depend on the connection we make together,” said Guetta. Where there’s good music,there’s also good food. Look out for stalls selling Mexican finger food,hot parathas,cupcakes and macaroons,pizzas and pastas,and Lebanese rolls and shawarmas. To add to the fun,there will also be funky tees,glow sticks and other party goodies.
