Man posing as cop robs car,cellphone

An unidentified person impersonating a traffic policeman fled with a four-wheeler and a mobile phone collectively worth over Rs 4 lakh on Sunday. Around 10.30 pm,Vikas Dhanvat (23) was driving on the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road when a ‘traffic cop’ on a bike stopped him. The accused told Dhanvat that in the wake of recent blasts every vehicle was being checked. He got out of the car and gave the keys to the accused,who said he will take the vehicle to a chowki. When he did not return till late,Dhanvat filed a complaint.
