TPL cricket tourney from Sunday
As many as six teams will battle for the first Tricity Premier League (TPL) Under-13 Cricket Tournament organised by BTS Cricket Academy under the guidance of CCA to be held from January 17 at Banyan Tree School ground,Sector 48. A bench of six coaches headed by RP Singh of CCA selected the teams during a selection trial on Sunday.

Netball trials on January 18
The Chandigarh sub-junior netball team will be participating in the 13th Sub-Junior National Netball Championship to be held at Nasik ( Maharashtra ) from February 10 to February 14. The selection trials to select the team (boys and girls) for the championship will be held at 3pm at Government Model High School ,Sector 28-D at 3 pm on January 18. Players born or after January 1,1994 are eligible for the trials.

Blue Chilly Cup semis tomorrow
Desh Prem Azad Cricket Academy will organise the semi-final matches of the Blue Chilly Cup 50-over Cricket Tournament on January 16. Both semi-finals will begin at 9 am. Guru Nanak Public School ,Sector 36 will face Mohali Cricket Academy at GNPS ground,Sector 36. Hosts Desh Prem Azad Academy will face DAV Senior Secondary School-8 at St Stephen’s School ground,Sector 45.

Cricket trials tomorrow
The First All India Senior T-20 National League Cricket Tournament will be played at Rohtak from January 21 to January 24. The tournament is being organised by Cricket Council of India and the trials to select the Punjab team for the event will be held at Shivalik Public School ,Sector 41 at 2 pm on January 16. The probables for the Chandigarh team have been selected and are required to report at the camp starting at Govrnment Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 40 on Jnauary 17 at 2 pm.

U-19 selection trials on Jan18 z Mandi Gobindgarh: The Fatehgarh Sahib District Cricket Association,affiliated to Punjab Cricket Association,will conduct trials to select the under-19 district team at Municipal Committee (Dushera Ground) near market committee,Mandi Gobindgarh on January 18 at 1.30 pm. According to FSDCA secretary,Sanjiv Aggarwal,the selected boys will represent the district in the under-19 inter-district cricket tournament being organised by Punjab Cricket Association from first week of February. Boys born on or after September 1,1991 are eligible to participate. Players are advised to bring their original date of birth certificate along with eligibility/residence proof.
