Security nightmare at Cong party

AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhis visits to party headquarters at 24,Akbar Road,have become a nightmare for those in charge of his security. Constant attempts by the security establishment to secure entry points and access routes have proved a non-starter due to opposition by the party establishment. Among the many demands made by them to AICC treasurer Motilal Vora was the removal of staff quarters located right near the party premises. Apprehensive of security threats posed by a constant stream of cars entering and leaving and many parked inside security officials even planned issuing 36 holograms for the vehicles used by senior party leaders. Under pressure from the party establishment,the eventual number of holograms handed around was a hundred. Yet,this remains a problem as ministers and top leaders coming from different states refuse to leave their vehicles outside the gate. Party leaders aver that a political partys office has to be open to the public.
