Patent information centre for HP

SHIMLA, Oct 29: Ajay Tyagi, Special Secretary of Science and Technology said here today that a Patent Information Centre has been sanctioned for Himachal Pradesh for creating awareness about filing patent and intellectual property rights.

This centre would be set up in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and Union Ministry of S and T.

Addressing scientists and representatives of non-governmental organisations and representatives in a two-days8217; workshop on science popularisations and communications organised by the State Council for Science, Technology today.

He said that the council had involved NGOs in science popularisation, environmental awareness, waste re-cycling technologies for the benefit of common man.
