South side story
For seafood lovers, here’s some welcome news. Southern Spice on Dhole Patil Road has spruced up its menu and included a range of dishes from the verdant coast of the Malabar. From standalone dishes to the thali menu, everything here is now tinged with the aromas and flavours of the Malabar. “We’ve recently added a lot of Malabari dishes and preparations to the menu at Southen Spice. Apart from Fish Malabari,Mutton Malabari and Crab Malabari, there’s also non-veg and veg thali which have an all-new menu,” says Varghese Manaadan, proprietor of the restaurant. The thali menu comprises of crab thali, fish thali, chicken thali and mutton thali, apart from the evergreen veg thali. If you thought thali could only be an assortment of dishes, the spread here will change that perception.
