Models Carol Gracias and Pia Trivedi were in town for the launch of Tara Jewellers’ second store at Bund Garden Road on July 15. “I usually buy simple western designs but I love the piece I am wearing today,” says Gracias showing off a traditional neck piece and matching earrings in Kundan Jadau. “I am old-fashioned when it comes to jewelery,I prefer yellow gold. The most precious piece of jewelery I own is a bracelet in yellow gold,which has two chains outlined with tiny white pearls on the sides. It was given to me by my mom,who had it passed on to her by my grandmother.” While Trivedi gushed,”The first Kundan set I bought with my own earnings is close to my heart.”
