NSCN men held for extortion

The Nagaland Police has arrested at least two persons,both cadres of the NSCN Unification camp, for allegedly stopping trucks entering Nagaland and collecting illegal taxes near Dimapur,the states commercial capital.

The duo have been identified as self-styled sectional officers Elobemo Jami and Raja Peyu. Following confessions made by the two,one Akaba Sangtam,self-styled finance secretary of the Naga National Council who was collecting tax from businessmen,was also arrested.
