TURIN: French World Cup hero Zinedine Zidane appealed to the Juventus boo-boys to give him more time to find his lost form.

Zidane, who is struggling to fully recover from surgery sustained late last season, was whistled by the home fans two weeks ago after a poor team performance againstVenezia, salvaged by a late winner from captain Antonio Conte.

“What you’re seeing is not yet the true Zidane,” said the World Cup winner yesterday. “It’s a question of time and form. It’s not easy to get it back after a knee operation like mine, when you still feel a small amount of pain and it conditions your performance.”
