Billabong High International students dances to first prize at Juhu competition
Billabong High International School- Thane bagged the first prize in the dance competition held at Jamnabai Narsee School,Juhu on August 25 in which 30 schools participated. Billabong stood out with their outstanding performance. Principal Mr S.P .Sharma and the Primary Section Head Ms.Chitra Joshi congratulated Mr. Pawan the dance teacher of the school and choreographer of the dance. They have congratulated the students for making the school proud.
St. Augustine’s High School enters Subroto u-14 zonal
St. Augustine’s High School,Nerul,beat Fr. Agnel’s Multipurpose School,Vashi to win the Subroto Mukherjee football tournament to enter the zonals. the St. Augustine’s football team (boys under-14) won Thane District Subroto Mukherjee Cup. The team showed their fighting mettle in the qualifiers and reached the final. As many as 226 schools across Mumbai,Thane and Navi Mumbai participated in the tournament. The final match against the tough opponent was a close contest. However with their unique tactics the boys emerged victorious with 2-1 score to bag the title and quality for the zonal tournament. The school management stated,We are extremely proud of the boys. They put up a good show in the last season as well and have continued this year too. The winners were felicitated at the school for their performance.
Expert tips for SSC success, at NGPurandare High School & Junior College
Sarvajanik Shikashan Sanstha’s Smt. N.G.Purandare High School & Junior College organised a programme to distribute a compiled copy of “Loksatta Yashasvi Bhav” to all S.S.C. Students of the school.
“Loksatta Yashasvi Bhav” is a collection of a series of articles published by experienced teachers of reputed schools for SSC students of Marathi medium schools.
The book was sponsored by the president of the Rajiv Gandhi Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan and Member of the State Legislative Council ,Charansingh Sapra,to all students of aided Marathi medium Schools in Bhandup & Mulund .The function was organized on August 28, at Sarvajanik Shikshan Sanstha’s AC hall. Ryan International School Organises INMUN 2012
800 aspiring delegates from India,Nepal,Indonesia,and Sri Lanka representing 120 countries resolve to find the best way towards peace and progress through dialogue and discussions at the Indian Model United Nations (INMUN) organized by the Ryan International Group of Institutions.
INMUN is simulation of the United Nations to promote the concept of inter dependence and cooperation for the peaceful world.
It is an educative and informative session through which students improves their research,writing,public speaking and negotiation skills and they also get and opportunity to mingle with the students participating from the different countries.
It gives an in-depth knowledge of the major international issues in the progressive world and gives a global perspective on the same.
Five students of St. Mary’s High School,Dahisar (E) were the proud participants for this years INMUN held at Delhi from 23rd August,2012 to 25th August,2012 symbolically representing the country of Latvia.
