Free styling session for underprivileged CHANDIGARH: Dr Monica Munjal Singh,a faculty member of the Centre for Social Work in Panjab University,adopted a unique way to celebrate Valentines Day by organising free haircut and styling sessions for underprivileged children of Kansal village through Uday Anganwari of Kansa Devi Colony. Mehak Gandhi,an IGNOU social work student,initiated the programme in collaboration with Sapna,the local head of the VLCC training institute here. Rations and stationary were also distributed among the children to mark the occasion. Ex-HC judges body donated to PGI CHANDIGARH: Justice P K Pallis body was donated to the Department of Anatomy,PGIMER on Tuesday. Justice Palli (75) was a resident of Sec 19-A,Chandigarh and was born in the family of lawyers. He served as a Judge in the High Court and after retirement,practised in the Supreme Court for a few years.
