Gunmen target Egypt gas pipeline

EL-ARISH: A security official said six individuals overpowered a lone guard early Sunday morning at a gas terminal in El-Sabil,a village west of the northern Sinai city of El-Arish. The men planted explosives at the facility and fled. But the timer failed detonate the explosives and soldiers were able to defuse the device.

Berlo to appear in court today: Lawyer

ROME: Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi is expected to attend a court hearing on Monday over allegations of breach of trust in his business interests,his lawyer was quoted as saying. The plan is for him to attend but if he has institutional duties its obvious that he will not be able to come, his lawyer Piero Longo said.

LONDON: A 100-year-old man,Forrest Lunsway, and a 93-year-old woman,Rose Pollard,are said to have become the worlds oldest couple to tie the knot following a 28-year courtship. They wed on March 19 at a combined age of 193 oldest couple to marry on record,Daily Mail reported.
