YANGON: The National League of Democracy,party of Myanmars Aung San Suu Kyi,called on Sunday for talks with the military rulers,known locally as the Tatmadaw,to clear up misunderstandings before a new government takes office.

Gunmen target Egypt gas pipeline

EL-ARISH: A security official said six individuals overpowered a lone guard early Sunday morning at a gas terminal in El-Sabil,a village west of the northern Sinai city of El-Arish. The men planted explosives at the facility and fled. But the timer failed detonate the explosives and soldiers were able to defuse the device.

100-yr-old man marries 93-yr-old

LONDON: A 100-year-old man,Forrest Lunsway, and a 93-year-old woman,Rose Pollard,are said to have become the worlds oldest couple to tie the knot following a 28-year courtship. They wed on March 19 at a combined age of 193 oldest couple to marry on record,Daily Mail reported.
