AHMEDNAGAR, Oct 13: A seminar on Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and alcohol8217; was held in MIDC here today.

Among those who attended the seminar were R Ranalkar, director of CQAV, Ahmednagar and the Deputy Superintendant of Police Dattatraya Karale.

Papers were presented on Handling ammonia safely,8217; LPG installation and inspection, managing chemicals safely and emergency management, safety in distillery and chlorine, statutory requirements under Explosives Act, occupational health. There was also a film show on LPG and chlorine. The seminar was concluded by A T Joshi.
