NGO awards students

Bharat Vikas Parishad, a non-government organisation, on Sunday organised a function at Kundan Vidya Mandir to award the meritorious students, who had scored 90 or more marks in class X of CBSE.

Bharat Vikas Parishad, a non-government organisation, on Sunday organised a function at Kundan Vidya Mandir to award the meritorious students, who had scored 90 or more marks in class X of CBSE.

About 220 students from different schools were honoured with certificates and momentoes. Chander Mohan Sharma, national convenor of Yuva Sanskar Bharat Vikas Parishad, honoured the guests.

Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the students, their parents and teachers. He called upon all those present there to actively co-operate and participate with BVP for the upliftment of society.

Sat Pal Gosain, deputy speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Anil Thapar, Madan Bassi and Dr Lajpat Rai were also present on the occasion.
