The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) today accused the Election Commission of playing a partisan role by resorting to largescale transfer of officials from the weaker sections in Bihar.‘‘We are planning to initiate strict action against the Election Commission if it continues to target the officials from the weaker sections by removing them from poll duty,’’ RJD spokesman Shivanand Tiwary said, adding the commission has made the post of Governor and the Chief Secretary redundant in the state.The RJD leader demanded that there should be reservation for SC, ST and OBCs in various constitutional bodies to ensure impartial act.Speaking at a Dalit convention of his party today, RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav slammed Paswan and urged Dalits to rally behind his party in the Assembly polls.CEC B.B.
