AURANGABAD, JANUARY 20: It was the classic case of history repeating itself as an enraged man bit off a piece of another man8217;s ear, the only difference being the crazed man was not Mike Tyson and the victim was not Evander Holyfield.

The venue was a barber shop and the victim was the barber himself as his customer, in a fit of rage, bit off a part of the man8217;s ear for refusing to attend to him first.

The incident occurred at Vaijapur on Tuesday, where the barber Ashok Vishvananth Bori, refused to shave the customer Santosh Deshmukh as he was already attending to another customer. Annoyed by Ashok8217;s refusal, Santosh caught hold of the former8217;s ear and bit it so hard that a piece of Ashok8217;s ear was left in Santosh8217;s mouth.

Ashok has lodged a complaint with the Vaijapur police station where an offence was registered under Sections 325, 323 and of 504 of the Indian Penal Code IPC, police said. Investigations in the case are on.
