Bal Thackeray backs Seshan

MUMBAI, May 5: Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray has extended his whole-hearted support to former chief election commissioner CEC T N Seshan in his bid for presidentship in the national interest, but cautioned that he 8220;must function within bounds8221;.

In an interview, Thackeray has said that Seshan was a good man who could bring a revolution in the country and establish value-based politics. 8220;However, Seshan must accept the limitations of the presidential post and not transgress it8221;, the Sena chief has reiterated while pointing out that the former had successfully brought about electoral reforms as the CEC.
