Aristocrat Sport Club looked a class apart as they outplayed Kalpataru RS before beating them by a convincing 3-0 margin in a Division-III match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League at the St Xaviers ground,Parel,on Tuesday. Dictating terms from the outset,Aristocrat attacked in waves to put the rival defenders under tremendous pressure from the first whistle. Their efforts were rewarded soon after with Anooj Kapoor,Janam Muni and Jay Shah scoring a goal each to complete their win and procure the three full points for their team.
Later in another match of the same division,Anjuman Islam too never looked in much trouble and enjoyed a good outing while handing Koli Samaj a 2-0 defeat. Amir Tungekar and Kiran Shirodkar were on target for the winners.
I C United and SJUM,meanwhile,shared two goals and a point each in a 1-1 draw played later in the evening. Harmukh Singh Sandhu scored for the United side,while SJUM got their goal through Udit Rao. In another match that also ended in a stalemate,Athletic Rovers were held to goalless draw by Maharashtra Social Welfare Association.
