Sarna death: Guards granted bail

A Delhi court on Monday granted bail to the two security guards arrested in connection with the death of NRI student Anmol Sarna,observing that the injuries found on Sarna’s body were self-inflicted. Additional Sessions Judge Rajender Kumar Shastri granted bail to Surender Bali and Naresh Mishra and ordered their release. The duo had been arrested for allegedly assaulting Anmol,leading to his death on the night of September 13-14.

Woman commits suicide on hospital premises<\b>

A 28-year-old woman,who was reportedly suffering from cancer,allegedly committed suicide in the compound of Guru Teg Bahadur hospital in northeast Delhi,police said. Sonia’s body was found hanging from a tree near the hospital’s staff canteen around 9 am,police said. Guru Teg Bahadur hospital authorities claimed that woman was not being treated in the hospital.
