External panel to meet tomorrow

A week after constituting an external committee to probe into the lapses in the treatment that led to the death of 16-year-old Anupama that led to her death,at PGIMER,the committee members will finally be meeting for the first time on Friday.

A week after constituting an external committee to probe into the lapses in the treatment that led to the death of 16-year-old Anupama that led to her death,at PGIMER,the committee members will finally be meeting for the first time on Friday.

As per the orders of the PGI Director,Dr Yogesh Chawla,the five member committee comprises of Dr S S Gill,vice-chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and a former head of the Orthopedics Department,PGIMER,who will be the chairman of the committee,Prof M C Mishra,head of the Department of General Surgery and chief of Trauma Centre,AIIMS,New Delhi,Dr Rajiv Vadera,Medical Superintendent,Government Multi Specialty Hospital,Sector 16,Prof Y K Batra of the Department of Anesthesia,PGIMER and Dr Vipin Kaushal,deputy medical superintendent,PGIMER who will be the convenor.
