PGI OPD touches all-time high; 8,000 patients register

The OPD count of patients at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research touch 8,000 on Monday,touching an all-time high,forcing around 120 patients to go back without treatment. On any given day,the OPD attendance is between 6,000-7,000 patients. As a procedure,all the new registration cases are first sent to the medicine OPD,from where they are sent to specific departments.

ABVP declares 30-member team

The Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP ) declared a 30-member team for its Panjab University (PU) Campus Unit for the session 2013-2014 at a conference held in the Student Centre of PU on Tuesday. Dinesh Chauhan,Organising Secretary,ABVP Chandigarh Vibhag,and Sumeet Randhawa,Organising Secretary announced the team that comprises 14 office bearers.
