The current 470-aircraft order is the largest placed by an airline in one go anywhere in the world, beating the 2011 order by American Airlines for a combined 460 aircraft
The AIX Connect spokesperson said that the airline took immediate corrective action in coordination with the DGCA, and additional simulator training sessions were implemented to address the gap.
The airline plans to file an appeal against the order of Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

The regulator said that one passenger was caught smoking in the lavatory, was drunk and not listening to the crew,and another allegedly relieved himself on a vacant seat of a female passenger.
Wilson was referring to the incident onboard AI 102 - operating between New York and New Delhi - where a passenger relieved himself on a fellow woman passenger in an inebriated condition.

Wilson’s letter came after India’s aviation regulator pulled up the airline over the incident on November 26, when an inebriated passenger relieved himself on a woman, who is a senior citizen.
In a statement released, DGCA said, "Applying restraining devices should be used when all conciliatory approaches have been exhausted".
The DGCA Thursday pulled up Air India for its negligence regarding an incident where an allegedly inebriated male passenger onboard the airline’s New York-Delhi flight urinated on an elderly woman.
Air India told DGCA that its cabin crew received a complaint from a female passenger on board on November 26 that a male co-passenger had soiled her clothes and bags by relieving himself near the seat she was in.
