A day after Croma and Intel tied up to bring affordable 2-in-1s and tablets to the Indian market, the chipmaker has roped in local tablet manufacturer Wishtel to launch tablets aimed at the enterprise segment.
The IRA Tablet PC range includes two tablets– IRA IA, operating on Android OS and and IRA IW with Windows 8.1. Powered by Intel’s Z2500 Series (Clover Trail Plus) Processer 1.2GHZ/2.0 GHz. and 3700 Series (Baytrail) Processer 1.3GHZ/I.8GHZ CPUs, the devices will be available in 7, 8 and 10.1 inches.
The tablets will be priced between Rs 7,000 and Rs 18,000.
The range will be optimised for enterprise solutions like MDM, video conferencing, cloud computing, office and mail clients as well as ERP Implementation.
The Android tablet will run Android 4.242 (Kitkat) operating system. The tablets support micro USB (smart OTG support), seamless wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, WLAN, 3G), and micro SD (capacity to expand storage).
