
KHARAR, Feb 7: In a major reshuffle, Roopnagar Senior Superintendent of Police Jaskaran Singh has ordered the transfers and posings of 12 police officials, including six SHOs of the district. These include five police inspectors, five sub-inspectors and two assistant sub-inspectors.
According to a copy of the orders issued to this effect, which was received here today, Kurali SHO Rajinder Singh Sohal has been posted as Kharar SHO; Kharar SHO Jasdev Singh to Roopnagar police lines; Raminder Singh from Roopnagar police lines as Kurali SHO; Sohana SHO Surjit Singh to Roopnagar CIA; Morinda SHO Romesh Chander as incharge, anti-fraud squad, Roopnagar; Gurinder Pal Singh from Roopnagar police lines as Sohana SHO; Mullanpur Garibdass SHO Tirlochan Singh as Morinda SHO; Harjinder Singh as Mullanpur Garibdass SHO; Parminder Singh from incharge, Purkhali police post as Chamkaur Sahib SHO; Avtar Singh from Roopnagar police lines as incharge Ghanauli police post; Jaswant Singh from Sohana police station as incharge Purkhali police post; and Romesh Kumar from Purkhali police post to Roopnagar police lines.
The orders have been issued with immediate effect. Meanwhile, Rajinder Singh Sohal took over as Kharar SHO here late last evening replacing Jasdev Singh who was been sent to Roopnagar police lines. Sohal was earlier posted as Kurali SHO.
